It gives us great pleasure to announce that applications for membership to FIDIC Africa’s Working Committees are now open!
As a Member Association, Member Firm or individual supporter of FIDIC Africa, we encourage you to nominate dynamic and passionate consulting engineering change-makers to the various portfolios. The Working Committees are the heart of this regional grouping of FIDIC, and focuses on driving activities, events and engagements to achieve the mandate of FIDIC Africa.
This call for applications is for the following working committees of FIDIC Africa for 2022/23 and includes:
- Growth and Membership
- Integrity, Quality, Risk and Standards
- Business Development
- Capacity Building
- Communications
- Future Leaders

All applicants must be an employee of a FIDIC/ FIDIC Africa Member Association or Member Firm and be willing to volunteer their time to the development of the FIDIC Africa. Applications may be by self-nomination or may be sponsored by FIDIC Africa Member Associations or Member Firms. Successful applicants will begin service on the selected working committee from August 2022. Service is for one year, which may be renewed for an additional two years to a maximum of three years depending on involvement and performance in the committee.
If you are passionate about FIDIC Africa, nominate yourself or a candidate to represent your Member Association or Member Firm who is eager to make a positive impact in the African Consulting Engineering landscape. Please complete and email the Application Form to the FIDIC Africa Secretariat at: jeshika.ramchundmoonsamy@gmail.com with the subject line FIDIC Africa Committee Applications on or before 25 July 2022.
Applicants submitting their credentials after this date will not be considered in this cycle. Applicants may be contacted and interviewed by representatives of the FIDIC Africa Executive Committee. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.
